Today we outline the details of the best new android phones set to launch in the market within the next few months, to help you make a decision about which one to buy.
Google Pixel 2
The Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are available to pre-order now, with on sale dates of 19 October and 15 November respectively. Most of the specs are same between the two phones. A 6in FullVision 18:9 Quad-HD+ pOLED panel adorns the XL model, while the standard Pixel 2 has a 5in 16:9 Full-HD AMOLED display. Both devices support squeezable edge gestures, and have what’s claimed to be the best smartphone camera yet. Hardware is also pretty good, with the Snapdragon 835, 4GB of RAM and either of 64- or 128GB storage.
V30 is LG’s prettiest mobile device till now and is also one of our most anticipated big phones. It is having a good shiny metal waterproof body and 6-inch 2:1 curved glass UHD OLED screen. There’s also a USB-C port, fingerprint sensor, and wireless charging.
Nokia is once again in the market to Bang. It is coming later this year, the Nokia 8 and its premium counterpart the Nokia 9 might feature edge-to-edge displays very similar to the Galaxy S8 (5.5-inch and 1440 x 2560 pixels on the 9 specifically), two vertical 22.1MP cameras, and Android 7.1 Nougat from the start. Other attracting features include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with eight, 2.5GHZ CPU cores and an Adreno 540 GPU plus 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will be the biggest and baddest. The phone is likely to be the 7nm Snapdragon 845 or 8nm Exynos 9810 processor and dual-lens rear cameras, plus fingerprint scanners embedded into the Infinity display. Its performance is going to be even better, and Samsung finally go above the 4GB of RAM this time. The design is not likely to change significantly, and hopefully neither will the price.
